The future

So There is no more - we were told less than two weeks before it was shut down.

To be honest I am not surprised that There shut down - I had been in-world for many years and you could tell that something was not right.

That's not to say that I wasn't disappointed - I had put so much time and money into the world it was a real shame to see it go.

This is why I shall keep KolourBlind.com open and make it into a small There tribute site, you can check out over 350 screen-shots I took in the final days leading up to the closure at my gallery here:

If you need a place to hang out now that we don't have There then I find that the best place is this website which has lots of information on There and an active forum:

So what does the future bring for online virtual worlds? Who knows but Vonira is currently in the very early stages of developing a new virtual world based on solid business principles.

I have become involved in this project and looking behind the scenes I can see its extent is far greater than anyone initially anticipated.

I am confident that not only will Vonira be as good as There.com but actually far better, check it out:
